O Salto group (formerly Eleva), whose shareholders include billionaire Jorge Paulo Lehman, is in talks to sell a third of its operations which currently belongs to a group of investors. The school chain, which consists of 22 school brands such as Anglo, Elite, Pensi and pH, is valued at 3.2 billion reais.
Among those interested in this slice is the foundation Atmos Capital and a private manager Adventreports Valor.The vendor group consists of Lemann, Marcel Telles, Opportunity and the Vidigal family, among others. They make up the Gera Foundation, which joined the school network ten years ago and is now in the process of being liquidated.
