About 100 companies took part in the business round table organized by the Trade-Industrial and Agricultural Association of Canaã dos Carajás (Aciacca) last Tuesday, the 16th. During the meeting, companies related to Aciacca had the opportunity to learn about the field of activity of major companies present in the region, such as: Vale, OZ Minerals, Gonçalves Dias, Usimig, XCMG, Mip Engenharia, Mackro Engenharia, Plamont, Ubertec and U&M. Then, each businessman participated in a round of negotiations at an individual table with buyers, where he presented his product or service portfolio and strengthened commercial ties.
The president of Aciacca, Vender Ribeiro, emphasized the importance of the Association to strengthen the sector, emphasizing the partnership of companies in this initiative. “I thank the companies for their partnership in this round. Erinelba Márquez de Souza, an entrepreneur in the supply sector of electrical engineering materials, spoke with pleasure about the event. “I thought it was a great opportunity to network and bring our brand to these companies. I believe that in order to strengthen local trade, it is always necessary to hold business meetings,” Erinelba emphasized. The entrepreneur has two companies in this sector, in Parauapebas and Canaã, which currently employ 50 people and supply large buyers.

“Since the restructuring of the supply area, we have been working in several directions, making it even closer to the places where Vale works, also through business tours, maintaining a periodic agenda with commercial associations, diagnosing suppliers and visiting potential partners. As a result, for example, in 2023 alone, we trained more than 230 companies and conducted more than 1,000 diagnoses to support the development of local companies and thus contribute to the socio-economic development of Canao and the entire region,” said Giardellino.
