The samba league schools in Corumba and Campo Grande already have money for next year’s festivities

The state government has already earmarked resources to support the Corumba and Campo Grande carnivals in 2024. A total of almost 2 million reais are already in the accounts of school sambo leagues.
According to the publication of the DOE (Official State Gazette) supplementary edition this Friday (8), the project to create allegories and supports for flaps for costumes for samba schools in Karumba cost R$ 799,750.00. The transfer was made by Liesco (Liga Independente das Escolas de Samba de Corumbá), which will have until February 29 next year to complete the service.
Lienca (Liga das Entidades Carnavalescas de Campo Grande) received 1,200,000.00 Brazilian dollars to host the parades of six samba schools in the single group and one samba school in the children’s group of Carnaval 2024. The slogan of the next edition is “Dream”. I can’t stop.” The contract will be valid until March 21 next year.
In 2024, the carnival will be held in mid-February, scheduled for the 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th, counting Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
