Embraer (EMBR3) made two announcements overnight on Thursday (26).
The planemaker said it has reached an agreement to sell 19 new E175 SkyWest planes that will join North American United Airlines.
The contract, which was included in Embraer’s order book for the third quarter, is worth US$1.1 billion according to the list price, the Brazilian company said in a statement. Embraer expects deliveries of the jets to begin in the fourth quarter of 2024.

The company also disclosed third quarter shipments and order backlog.
It delivered 43 aircraft in the third quarter, up 30% year-on-year, the market said.
Deliveries this quarter total 15 commercial jets and 28 jets, according to the company.
