New York futures are trading higher despite a low end of the day overseas. The day before, pressure on the indexes was exerted by the growth of the US GDP, which in the 3rd quarter increased by 4.9% above forecasts.
Treasury yields are rising this morning. The yield on 10-year Treasury bonds rose by 1.9 bps. to 4.864%, and the yield on 2-year Treasury bonds increased by 1.1 bps. to 5.05%. Among the US indicators, data on personal income and personal expenses are expected. In addition, there is an expectation from the University of Michigan Confidence Index and the Federal Reserve Service Survey. In Europe, stock markets are mixed, with focus continuing on earnings season and global risk sentiment, even after the European Central Bank’s (ECB) decision to keep interest rates at 4%, as expected by markets. Asian stock markets ended the day higher, while an index in Australia recovered after hitting a year-low on Thursday.
In Brazil, among the indicators, today we will have data from the FGV industry survey, a BCB press release with data on monetary policy and credit operations and, as the main data of the day, the main result of the Central Government issued by the Treasury. Today we will only have the announcement of Useminas before the opening of the session.
