Organization of CorLab and BID Laboratory, The goal of this competition is to continue to position La Docta as an innovative public technology center where private and public companies work together to improve the quality of life for citizens.
During 2023 the program Cordova GovTech accompanied 52 startups that received training and support through bootcamps, incubation and acceleration programs. Nearly 40 liaison meetings between govtech enterprises and municipal officials were held, the experience of which has become an important advance in cooperation between entrepreneurs and the public sector.
Your startup may be the only one
The call seeks startups with innovative solutions related to security, health, education, transportation, environment, institutional communication, culture, finance, infrastructure, inclusion, accessibility, human capital, citizen participation, and more.
Those selected will be able to complete a free 3-month mentoring program according to the stage of entrepreneurship:
- Bootcamp program (entry level): entrepreneurs will be able to test their business ideas and develop an exponential business model for their solution.
- Incubation Program (Mid Level): Businesses will tackle complex management and market challenges. In addition, they will test their products and support an iterative and incremental approach with the Scrum methodology.
- Acceleration Program (advanced level): Startups will implement exponential growth techniques to attract customers and users. The focus will be on the importance of implementing scalable solutions for the success of an innovative solution.
In all cases, participating entrepreneurs will receive training and technical assistance from Incutex and receive feedback from government agents. In addition, they will network with key players in the sector and enhance their skills and knowledge to run a successful business.
Experts who will take part in the programs include: Idoia Ortiz by Artiñano (international link at govtech), Walter Abrigo (link in Exponential Organizations), Edgard Regatta (smart cities specialist), Ariel Vercellone (expert on digital transformation in the public sector), Luciano Crisafulli (expert on open innovation in the public sector), Pablo Javier Munzano (specialist in the field of experiments and business models), Jimena Caro (open innovation and OKR specialist) and Karina Fernandez (Agility and Product Specialist), among others.
Programs consist of weekly intensive face-to-face meetings for 3 months and additional virtual support for a further 3 months.
