The Subcommittee on Constitutional Impeachments of Congress evaluated this Tuesday the constitutional complaint presented by the Attorney General’s Office against former President Martin Vizcar for alleged crimes related to incompatible negotiations or improper use of office and illegal appointment to the detriment of the state. The disqualified former president and prosecutor Hernan Mendoza were present at the meeting.

During the meeting of the Central Committee denied a preliminary question to agree with Martin Viscar’s decision to waive his right to a political preliminary hearing. In addition, the ex-president used the right to remain silent on questions about this case.
