“The Venezuelan state will exercise its right to self-defense in the midst of a popular military synthesis. This is how peace will be and will be. And this is a task for everyone,” the president said, noting that “I have seen statements that say that Venezuelan society is not defending itself, that we are allowing terrorism and mercenaries to advance.”

The president emphasized that “the Nazi government of Argentina wants us to reward the gendarme”, while clarifying that Venezuela is under the protection of international law “to protect against violence, coups and terrorism”.

“Gringos have an ideology of personalization. This is not the work of one person, but the history of the country, the heritage, the project and the sacred cause that we are defending. Nicolás Maduro is ahead, but I am ahead of millions of men and women” to defend the country.

We will continue to follow the path of the triumph of peace, the president said, stressing that peace and national unity will prevail in Venezuela.

“These extremist, toxic, hate-filled, anti-Venezuelan right-wing and anti-homeland right; “They believe that it was April 2002 when they made a big ambush and deceived a lot of people,” the president said, recalling that at that time they still brought killers from abroad and organized an operation to attack Miraflores and kill their own people and blame Hugo Chavez. “The attackers have been caught,” Nicolas Maduro said.

They believed that the people would be silent, but the people’s military-police force responded. “We will take care of the territories and peace. “The tools are enough,” said the dignitary.

Nicolás Maduro recalled that the Bolivarian Revolution developed a great potential to resist attacks, invasion attempts, Operation Gideon.

“We have already captured more than 150 foreign mercenaries, gringos, Ukrainians and others,” Maduro said.

The head of state clarified that “a new state with a great capacity for action and transformation is being formed.” Clarifying that the consolidation of the new state is taking shape and accelerating, Maduro admitted that it is also based “on the transformation of all institutions and allowing them to serve the people”: the government, all its institutions, the judiciary, citizens, executive, electoral power.

In this transformation, the head of state insists, institutions must be more effective and connected to the aspirations of our people and the great transformations that are taking place,” he said.

This is also based on the responsibility of the state and civil society, the president emphasized. At the same time, Maduro emphasized that this structure of a new, deeply modern state is based on constitutional principles that do not remain in place.

The big problem was to turn all the heritage and spirit of the constitutional mandate into living words and concrete actions, the president thought.
