Serious legal problems with the legacy of the tigress of the East

A new chapter is being added to the complicated process of obtaining the inheritance of the late actress and singer Irma Serrano, known as “La Tigresa”.

On January 8 of this year, an eviction attempt was registered from one of the artist’s properties located in Acapulco, where the parents of Luis Felipe Garcia, Serrano’s nephew, currently live.

In an exclusive interview with the Chismorreo program, Luis Felipe García disclosed the details of this incident. According to his testimony, a group of police officers appeared at the residence with the clear intention of carrying out an eviction based on the decision of the economic judge.

“We woke up today to the news that the police were trying to evict my aunt Irma’s house where my parents live. My father, who is elderly and has serious heart problems, was very scared,” Garcia said. declared.

Irma Serrano’s nephew described the process as a “fake seizure” and directly pointed to Pilar de Leon, the actress’ other niece, and her daughter Maria Jose as the alleged culprits in the lawsuit. Garcia claims the family was never officially notified of any lawsuits.

“We don’t know how they managed to fake this seizure. The family was never notified and it all happened very suddenly. The documents for the house have always been in my aunt Irma Serrano’s name and all the taxes have been paid,” Luis Felipe said. .

Pilar de Leon has already been the subject of controversy in the past

In 2016, she was arrested on charges of baiting Irma Serrano with the alleged purpose of embezzling several of her properties. Although she was released in 2020, this new incident revives suspicions about her intentions regarding the assets of “La Tigresa”.

The property in question is not just another property. It is a home of great sentimental value to the Serrano family and is part of the legacy that Irma left behind when she died on March 1, 2024. at the age of 89 years.

Luis Felipe García says his lawyers are already working to find out what happened and prevent future eviction attempts. “We are finding out what is the matter. This exposes the brutal level of corruption,” said the artist’s nephew.

The dispute over Irma Serrano’s inheritance has caused tension between family members. Luis Felipe Garcia has positioned himself as the defender of his aunt’s legacy, confronting not only other family members but what he sees as abuses in the judicial system.

“My parents are elderly people who do not deserve to go through this. We are doing everything we can to ensure that my aunt’s memory and legacy are respected,” Luis Felipe Garcia concluded.
