Seven states exceed the Fiscal Responsibility Act limits

In the second four months of 2023, Rio Grande do Norte, Roraima, Acre and Minas Gerais (photo) exceeded the limit on personnel costs set by the Fiscal Responsibility Law (LRF) for the executive branch, set at 49%.

The figures are contained in the Financial Management Report for the second four months of 2023, published this Monday (23) by the National Treasury.

See costs by state:

  • Rio Grande do Norte – 57.76%
  • Roraima – 51.61%
  • Acre – 49.92%
  • Minas Gerais – 49.62%

The limit set for the legislature (3%) was exceeded in Alagoas (3.71%) and Roraima (3.41%).

The maximum limit for public service is 2%, and only Maranyan (2.04%) exceeds the limit set in the LRF.
