This Monday, April 15, the Cerro Talhad Municipality celebrated a landmark achievement when, as part of the 7th Congress of the Municipalities of Pernambuco, it was awarded two Mayoral Entrepreneurship Awards from Sebrae/PE. The recognition came in two different categories, highlighting the municipality’s excellence in rural entrepreneurship and tourism initiatives.

In the “Rural Entrepreneurship” nomination, the project “Goat Farming: Successful Business” under the leadership of the Department of Agriculture took 1st place. This project demonstrated an effective commitment to the sustainable development and prosperity of rural communities.

In addition, the municipality took 3rd place in the “Tourism” category within the “Tourism and Territorial Identity” project, which is run by the Secretariat of Economic Development and Tourism.

“Winning these City Hall Entrepreneurship Awards from Sebrae/PE is recognition of our work and our team’s commitment to promoting the development of Serra Taljado. We are committed to creating opportunities, strengthening our economy and appreciating our natural and cultural resources,” said Mayor Marcia Conrado.

The titles were received by Cerro Tagliado Vice Mayor Marcia Oliveira at a ceremony that brought together business leaders, local authorities and Sebrae/PE representatives, including Superintendent Murillo Guerre. This recognition reaffirms the commitment of the municipal administration to the development of entrepreneurship and the stimulation of economic development, strengthening Serra Talhad as a benchmark for innovative and effective municipal management.
