“Last week we had 107 million transactions in one day, which is not far from one transaction per person per day. We see this creating inclusion, there are 70 million people who have been included in the financial system in some way because of Pix”– said Compass Neta at the event.
“We also had more bank accounts, so that makes people more bankable. We have about 9 million bank accounts that were opened just because of Pix”– he declared.
Compass Neta also stated that BC needs to understand technology even more: “There are more things we cannot do than we can”. As an example, he cited the idea of creating offline wallets that allow you to perform financial transactions even without the Internet.
