The Leaf Home company in Kaukauna permanently lays off 37 workers in the flooring department

KAUKAUWANA, Wis. (WFRV) – One of America’s largest providers of full-service branded home services has announced plans to close one of its Fox Valley locations, laying off 37 employees.

Leaf Home, located at N2277 W 41 Frontage Road in Cowtown, is closing its flooring business and laying off employees, according to a letter sent to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD).

The termination is expected to begin on or after November 11, 2023.

Leaf Home officials say these layoffs will be permanent. The estimated first layoff date will be November 11 for five employees, with the remaining 32 laid off just after Christmas on December 28. The rest of the enterprise will continue to work after December 28.

Leaf Home reports that all affected employees have been notified of their separation dates and that their separation from the company will be permanent. The affected employees are not represented by a union; therefore, they do not have any collision rights.
